We are delighted that the long empty Kurobuta site has now been taken over by the Kendal Street Kitchen, offering all day dining at relatively reasonable prices for central London, and it has kindly offered to host our next event on Tuesday April 30. I hope you will be able to join us there.
Our speaker for the evening will be Jo Turner of the Place-shaping, Regeneration, Economy and Planning team at Westminster City Council, who will describe the Paddington- Bayswater High Streets Programme. This aims to improve the local high streets in our area, specifically Edgware Road, Praed Street, Connaught Street, Queensway and Westbourne Grove. An engagement programme and public consultation was held last year. Jo will tell us about the report and next steps and is keen to hear your views. Please come along with any issues you would like to raise, from 6.30pm to 8pm.
