Dear Members and Friends
The next Hyde Park Estate Association Pub Evening will be held on Tuesday 16th April. On this occasion we will be welcoming a speaker from The Frontline Club on Norfolk Place. I know that some of you will already be familiar with the Club and may even be members, but for those who are not yet acquainted with it, the Frontline Club is, and I quote from its website, "a gathering place for journalists, photographers and other like minded people interested in international affairs and independent journalism." It hosts many talks, films and other events open to the public and also has a wonderful restaurant.
We are indeed fortunate so have such a respected and interesting organisation in the mist of our community. At our April pub evening we will be hearing from someone from the Club who will tell us about what it does and generally introduce itself to our members. Of course there will, as always be a chance for questions and discussion. I am sure this will be a most interesting evening and I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend.
We will meet as usual in the Upstairs Theatre Bar of the Victoria Pub on Sussex Place from 6.15 - 8.00pm. Please feel free to invite any of your friends and neighbours who may be interested in joining us.
