Information from the Police about knife crime
Our contacts at the Met Police have asked us to circulate some information about knife crime. There are 2 documents which you can view at these links: Leaflet and Presentation. The information is primarily aimed at parents of young people but it is extremely useful for all of our members to be aware.
The Met Police tweeted recently about a hidden knife disguised as a card, found by the Neighbourhood Taskforce on an individual on Edgware Road.
Don't forget that next Wednesday, 10 April, is the first drop-in session with local police at Abasto on Connaught Street. All are welcome - start time is 6pm.

New spring patrol hours for Marble Arch patrol team
Our friends at Marble Arch BID have let us know that from 1 April the patrol team on Edgware Road will patrol longer into the evening until 10:00 pm from Monday to Saturday, following requests from local businesses. Now that the clocks have gone forward, there are more people around in the evening taking advantage of the longer days.

Their summer patrol timetable, which starts on 1 May, sees them working until midnight six nights a week as in previous years.

To contact one of the Street Team to raise a concern please call 07825 750777.
Remember, in an emergency or if a crime is in progress, dial 999.
