REMINDER – MEMBERS’ EVENING MONDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER

By WPhydep  Published On September 7, 2025

REMINDER
Please join us at the VIctory Services Club tomorrow, Monday 8th September, to hear about how Praed Street is to be improved.

Jo Turner of the Place Shaping, Regeneration Economy and Planning team at Westminster council will introduce the plans in person on at the Victory Services Club.

We have heard from Jo previously about the council’s overall regeneration plans for Paddington and Bayswater high streets, so this meeting will focus on the strategy for Praed Street.

The meeting will be held in the Trafalgar Room at the Victory Services Club, Seymour Street on Monday 8th September, from 6.30 to 8.00pm.  Drinks are available to purchase.

Feel free to invite local friends and neighbours who may be interested in joining us.

The public engagement exercise runs until 17 September 2025 (6 weeks), so you may wish to feed in your reactions. The aim is to refine the draft objectives and strategic proposals. The final two strategy documents, to guide the investors, businesses and other stakeholders involved, will be published in November 2025. Very often, those preparing these strategies have little concrete information about what changes local residents want to see, and this is hard to capture. So if you do chose to comment, chances are that, if your views are shared, they will be picked up.
