Last chance for your say on Praed St – plus pedicabs

By WPhydep  Published On September 15, 2025

There’s a last chance to have your say on the future of Praed Street.
If you missed our members’ evening last week with the
Place Shaping, Regeneration Economy and Planning team at Westminster counci , you can still contribute via this link to
the public engagement until 17 September. The aim is to refine the draft objectives and strategic proposals.

The final two strategy documents, to guide the investors, businesses and other stakeholders involved, will be published in November 2025. Very often, those preparing these strategies have little concrete information about what changes local residents want to see, and these views are  hard tfor council officisls to capture. So if you do chose to comment, chances are that your views will be noticed.

Our former MP, Nickie Aiken, championed introduction of the Pedicabs Act by the Conservative government in order to regulate dangerous, noisy pedicabs. The detailed licensing requirements now have to be set by Transport for London. You can state your views here, until October 20:
