Marble Arch Central Line escalator work

By WPhydep  Published On April 22, 2021

TfL will be carrying out escalator work at Marble Arch station from Monday 9 March until mid-June 2020.

This will mean that there will be no down escalator service to the Central line. Access to the platforms is via a fixed staircase with approximately 120 steps.

Customers unable to use the stairs, travelling with luggage or buggies are advised to use Bond Street station which has step-free access and is about seven minutes? walk away. Alternatively, there are buses from stop K on Oxford Street.

This maintenance work is essential to ensuring the continued safe operation of the escalators at Marble Arch station and will be completed within the shortest possible time frame.

As always, station staff will be on hand to support customers should they need any assistance with their journeys.
