The Church Commissioners and representatives from the Hyde Park Estate Association planted trees on the estate in March 2022 as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy project. Nine different types of British native trees were planted in 16 different locations across the estate, each carefully chosen to support local wildlife, including insects.
The tree plantings were part of celebrations for Her Majesty?s Platinum Jubilee and also marked the Hyde Park Estate Association’s own 70th Anniversary this year.
